● Thin, conformable bonding: At just 0.4 mm thick, 5915P is one of the thinner tapes in the VHB range, letting
it conform to slightly uneven or textured surfaces while still delivering a genuine structural bond — not just a
temporary hold.
● Proven strength: Delivers overlap shear strength of 620 kPa (90 psi) on stainless steel and normal tensile of
550 kPa (80 psi) on aluminium — enough to replace screws, rivets and liquid adhesives in general-purpose
bonding jobs.
● Handles heat and movement: Resists short-term exposure up to 149°C (300°F) and continuous use up to
93°C (200°F), while its foam core absorbs vibration and stress that would crack a rigid weld or fastener.
● Fast handling strength: Reaches about 50% of its final bond strength within 20 minutes of application, so
parts can be handled sooner, with full strength developing over 72 hours as the adhesive "wets out" onto the
surface.
● Wider format for bigger jobs: At 48 mm width, 5915P covers more surface area per pass than narrower VHB
tapes, reducing the number of strips needed on longer panels and trim pieces.

● General Industrial Assembly: Bonding metal, glass and plastic components where screws or rivets would
otherwise need drilling.
● Signage & Nameplates: Mounting nameplates, badges and plaques with a clean, fastener-free finish.
● Panel & Trim Bonding: Attaching trim strips, covers and light panels to appliance and equipment housings.
