How to Apply Solar Gard Panorama Sterling 40
Professional installation recommended. The Solar Gard Sterling 40 uses a pressure-sensitive adhesive and is applied to the interior surface of glass using wet application.
Step 1: Glass assessment. Installer checks glass type for compatibility.
Step 2: Surface cleaning. Remove all dust, adhesive residue, paint spots, and silicone.
Step 3: Wet application. Spray soapy water on glass, position film on wet surface.
Step 4: Squeegee. Push water and air from centre outward. Precision-trim edges.
Step 5: Curing. Allow 15 to 30 days for full bond. Small water pockets may appear initially and will clear.
